(Not really... :) )

Just wanted to say my wife and I had a wonderful time enjoying Barnman's hospitality this weekend and getting the NSX updated.

He did Bilstein's, coolant hoses and window thingies (and I swapped amps while the doors were open) plus flushed the ABS system for free (it definitely reduced pumping frequency).

His attention to detail and care about the car are obvious when you watch him work, and he and his family are wonderful to get to know.

I hope I don't need any more work soon, but he gets our vote even after an eight hour drive (one way).

Thanks, Barnman!

Open your shop soon!

I might have to pay Barnman a visit when time comes for my 90K. You say 8 hours from Danville? So that means it'll be a 12 hour drive from my place < sigh >

Said it once - say it 1000 times - Barnman is the one of the BEST techs in the country IMO when you take into account the knowledge, the care, the love of the cars, and the commeraderie.

Take care Barnman - been too long since we hooked up. Maybe you shouldn't have fixed up my car SOOOO good that I wouldn't need you for so long?

He is an Acura master tech for 11 years, a lover of the NSX, a people person who operates by the golden rule, a patient teacher, and a good friend to many on this board.

BTW - he is in the process of opening his own shop near Nashville TN and has a home page here:

I wholeheartedly agree! Barnman is very good, fast, and thorough with his work. Barnman's work is topnotch. Most of all, he is a good friend.

Hey What's Up Barnman!!!!

It will be well worth it. I travel up there 1-2 times a year. Although my drive is only 4 hours each way.

The Barnman not only changed my timing belt, all the hoses, and clutch for an unbelievably low price, he also drove the NSX to Florida for us after the work because we were moving from Ohio to FL. Now that’s service.

The independent shop is a great idea. The NSX owners near Nashville can rejoice.
