Ball Joints

Removing the rear upper ball joints. Anyone use the pickle fork, or do you use the prescribed Acura tool? Would like to remove them tomorrow, but only have the pickle fork.
 
Dood, pickle forks are for mechanics whose knuckles scrape the ground as they walk.

A resounding NO to pickle forks. Very destructive, you're gonna have to beat on it very hard and the NSX is made of softer than the tool aluminum.

Get yourself a joint puller and be done with it. They are not that expensive, delay the job and get one shipped to you if you can't find it locally.

Agreed, best case scenario, you'll just screw up the boot with it, worst case you'll damage the A-arm. Just because of the nature of those aluminum parts, I'd probably not go the fork route just to be safe.
