I have isolated the passenger window problem to this:
There is no ground for the circuit. When I test the ground coming out of the main drivers switch (black wire) I do not get a ground? book says that it is ground block G401/G402 ... which one is it ???!!! I tried to get to G401 and omg is it hard to get too ... I almost took the intire dash out to get to the under dash fuse, which needed to come out so that I could get to the G401 ground block. I was unsuccessful but I managed to loosen the dash up enough to wiggle the ground connection for G401
I tested the window.... no dice... now I am going to try and find G402 (under the passenger Kick-board) any thoughts..?
help....Gene

Sounds like a broken wire in the door opening..open the shroud around the wires that go from the door to the body and you will most likely find a broken wire in there..:frown:

yeah.... thats the problem Brian, the drivers side window works .. mirrors work .. but in an ohm test I get no ground after main switch #9 on page 23-262..... I wanted to get to G401 to directly test if there was a break in the wire.... maybe I will screw with g402 and see if it solves the problem if not I'm getting out the soldering gun..

Why would you do anything with G401?...the ground at pin#9 is from G402...if you do not have ground at pin#9 but you do have ground at pin #4 at control unit for drivers window than you have a break in the wire between the splice and pin#9..the Driver's window control unit is in the driver's door so you either have an open in the wire between the master window switch and the control unit ...or you are missing something else.

oh ...ok on the schematic it said G401 with G402 written under it ...
I think it must be the splice Zanhtech.. do you know where that splice is (the one between 9 and the drivers window control unit) or will I have to rip open the harness between the two......
Thanks for you help guys ....... this group is a great bunch .. and Brian there are no words for how helpful you have been in this, my first year of nsx ownership ......I will jump on this when I get home and let you know how it goes...
