It took two months, but at last she's finished!

Front bumper and fenders, hood and rear bumper got a re-spray,
so now I felt it was time for some more serious photos before winter storage:

Your wheels look great, what are they and what size?

I agree with the WW kit, looks great, and I miss mine!

But......what's with the engine cover? It's partially invisable???

Great pics and looks fantastic!!

Is there a way you can tell me how you photoshoped the 3rd pic? It loooks sweet.

What wheels are those? They look sick!

Thankyou everyone for your comments.

Wheels are called Advanti Racing - cobras. 17x7" / 18x8".

Stock rear bumper? Got any close ups of the blacked out part?
No its not stock, its GT-One/Sorcery's R-GT bumper.

I bougt the parially invisible version from DF!

No, seriously. First you need two pics - one without the cover and one with cover on top. Then you just erase the bits you want on the top layer. I used a soft brush.

DUde! i want one for my corvette now. The rear engine on my corvette is so loude so i have to try to cover it up with something

Yeah that would be awesome. I'm planning on the Gt rear bumper myself, but am not sure about the lower valence.. I'd really like to see what it looks like under there!

Ok, here's an unedited pic of the rear. I lit it up a little extra so you can see clearly.

Some piece of advice - If you have a euro spec car like me, just dont think about it. I have already had to modify the lower part alot to make look anywhere near descent.
...and it still goes really poorly with the NA1 rear. I have to modify it even more to get rid of those ugly gaps below and above the number plate. :frown:

And as you can se all the crap behind the bumper is fairly visible now - the supplied net really covers nothing, and the rear beam has to go aswell.

If you ask me - sure it looks cool, but it just is'nt worth the time and money it takes to make it fit properly.

HEy thanks for posting up that picture... You can just fabricate something paint it and it will look great. You decided not to get the gt-rom rear valence though huh?

What modification did you need to do, specifically geared towards the Euro rear? It looks like the bumper lines up horribly with the lower valance, and this is after your modifications?

Do you have any pictures from a distance, eg perhaps 15m or so from the car?

First of all you have to remove the rear crash bar when fitting the R-GT piece, so alot of the supporting structure goes bye bye. In addition, many of the fastening points on lower piece wich holds the original upper and lower pieces together cant be used on the R-GT, so i have like ten left over screws here.

We then had to do some plastic work to narrow the number plate gap on the lower euro piece to match that of the R-GT.

Maybe i was a little too eager to fit the part, because there's more that can be done to make it line up even better, but it only became apparent when i mounted the pieces together.

As I said, I'll have a look at it again next spring.
