Whew, just finished a marathon series of trips:

-Fly to Boston, MA to do some consulting work for M.I.T.
-Fly to San Diego to enjoy some sun and fun
-Fly to Tahoe for snowboarding and snow mobiling
-Fly back to San Diego for some karting with TBNSX
-Fly to Chicago to hang out at the Magnificent mile and have some lunch

All in the last couple of weeks. I'm tired of airports, planes, rental cars, and hotels.

I got a rental Infiniti FX35 in Chicago. I was trying to buy some gas for it and couldn't figure out how to open the freakin' gas cap cover.

After trying to open it unsuccessfully in the freezing windy afternoon, I finally cracked open the owner's manual and read how to open the gas cap cover - there is no gas cap open button, so you have to press unlock twice on the remote, and then push the gas cap cover open.

I was pretty pissed I had to crack the owner's manual just to buy some gas for the car, so I cursed at damn car and kicked it in the tire to alleviate some built up frustration.

So nice to be relaxing back and no where to go for a while.

And you say you do consulting work for MIT?
I know how you feel. I could not figure out how to adust the clock on my 3 series for days until I look at the owner's manual. I felt pretty stupid.

LOL Geeks don't like no cars. ;)

It pissed me off that Infinity couldn't be bothered to include a simple gas cap button, among all the other 10,000 high tech gizmo buttons in the car.

Get the basics right, Infiniti!!!
