Baby seats in NSX's?

I have a 17 month old daughter in a fwd facing childseat.

Does anyone else travel with their baby in their NSX? Does the NSX (02+) pass. side airbags turn off? Wife is always talking about this and Id like to be able to tell her something to calm her down about my future car lol
