Purpose
The purpose of the RALLY FOR THE KIDS! Event is to develop community awareness, bring positive public attention, and raise essential funds for the KIDS SPORTS STARS Program which is “Powered by the Azimuth Foundation”. Additionally, the event will recognize KIDS SPORTS STARS Ambassadors, event sponsors and supporters as well as some of the kids themselves.
Who Benefits
KIDS SPORTS STARS programs are targeted at motivating and educating kids to adopt more active, healthy lifestyles, through sports and fitness. Azimuth Foundation funds these programs to help each kid become a “star” by reaching their own potential through the power of sports. To date, over 1000 kids have been impacted by the programs. Current program results include: 50% reduction in aggressive behavior and 60% increase in self esteem for the summer girls program; 53% of the 326 inner city school children completed the walk/run marathon challenge over the four months with their families; both the kids and their parents reported that they were more active after the program than before.
Objectives
Maximize funds raised through underwriting sponsorships, local business donations and premium silent/live auction items and raffle items.
Introduce Azimuth Foundation and its KIDS SPORTS STARS Program to a new audience (local car clubs and car enthusiasts) while boosting the overall general awareness of its mission and program impact.
Make the event “memorable” and “enjoyable” to ensure repeat support.
Raise $150,000 in net proceeds in support of the Azimuth Foundation and the “KIDS SPORTS STARS” Programs.
Host 400-500 guests including current supporters, car enthusiasts, sports enthusiasts, and others who are interested in and capable of giving to “help kids in need live a healthier and more active lifestyle through the power of sports”.

Where: RALLY to be held at the ASU Sun Devil Stadium Parking Lot on the corner of Rural and Rio Salado Prkwy. EVENT will be held at the Penske Racing Museum in Phoenix, Arizona near Scottsdale Rd and the 101 Frwy
Who: Presented by KIDS SPORTS STARS, Scottsdale 101 Auto Collection and other local sponsors. High end car clubs around town will be participating. Car enthusiasts and their families are encouraged to attend the RALLY. Adults-only for the EVENT at the Penske Racing Museum.
Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm Car Rally/Parade of Cars down Scottsdale Rd to Penske Museum. Families Welcome!
5:00pm - 9:00pm Wine tasting, jazz, raffle, auction…..FUN at Penske Racing Museum. Adults-only!
Price: RALLY is free of charge. The EVENT at the Penske Racing Museum is $125 Per Person which includes two glasses of wine (5-6 tastings). Cash n carry bar will be available. Dress is Tommy Bahama casual.
