My front bumper was scraped yesterday. Was wondering if the damage will buff out or should I just go with repainting hood/bumper. If repainting, what's the average cost for bay area pricing? Also, does noes anyone know where I can get the OEM honda emblem?

thanks

I think someone was selling OEM honda logo: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NorCalNSX/

U might be able to buff that out and then make a "rock chip" claim under your comprehensive policy. I'm sure the rest of your car has been chipped up from some A-hole that cut you off at freeway speeds.

There are ONLY 2 body shops that I would let touch my cars:

In the north bay:

Ask for Jim. He is a NSX owner.

In the south bay:

thanks for the recommendation. But you didnt answer my question which is "what is the AVERAGE COST to have bumper/hood/light covers repainted?" Rock chip damage is not covered under my insurance.

thanks

I haven't had any paint work done at Cologne but just recently had Jim do the timing belt service on my car. He's a great guy and I couldn't imagine a better person to work with. Definitely agree with batman!

If you want to come by my place I will try to buff that out for materials cost only, about $40

You can have the bumper resprayed for a cheap $400 masked off, the correct way would run about $650 to $800 (take off the bumper and dismantle)
