Autowave of Huntington Beach did a fine job rebuilding my NSX engine and transmission. Their communication with me was excellent during the whole process, always taking whatever time was needed to explain what I wanted to understand about the work they would be doing. Everything was working flawlessly when I got the car back, and has remained so in several thousand miles since (I've waited a few months before posting this review so that I would be able to give a report after some experience with the work they had done).
I had a couple things done by Autowave at the same time. They corrected a poor job of window alignment that had been done by another shop (not another Southern California shop, but one well known in the NSX community). Autowave cured a wind noise problem that the other -- highly reputed -- shop had actually made worse.
I also had wheel alignment done, work which Autowave didn't do themselves -- but the specialist they brought the car to for alignment was also helpful and communicative and I have been happy with the way the car drives since the alignment.
I am glad to have Autowave available to work on my NSX.
