Automatic Transmission Conversion? How easy (or hard)?

Hi Everyone,

I was curious as to what it would entail switching an automatic early model NA1 to a manual transmission. Some things off the top of my head I'd need would be the transmission, shift assembly, cables, boot, knob, clutch pedal. But I was wondering if I was missing anything and if I would need a different ECU. Do the tranny's bolt on easily?

I did a search but everything that I was using for a keyword wasn't populating anything relevant.

Not worth it unless you live somewhere which has VERY few NSX's to start with, and that's your ONLY option... Better just to trade.

Or unless you have all the manual parts laying around, you purchased an auto super cheap(or free) and you have a lot of time to do the labor then the swap might be worth it.

Probably cheaper and faster to just to trade for a manual.

not to mention when you are all finished with the swap your engine will still have a baseline that is 20-40 hp less and a redline that is 1000 rpm lower.

the conversion is very easy. buy the automatic nsx and sell your manual one.
