automatic locks and arming....

hello people..
just a quick question, if my NSX-T 98 has keyless entry,and it all works fine,shouldn't my car be equipped with the automatic "get out of you car and walk away,and 15 seconds later doors automatically lock and little red light next to the drivers side pull knob starts blinking" feature? or is this a separate option.
his car is a 99 NSX-T ,basically like mine ,same options.
i tryed a search,couldnt find anything,
i've got all the manuals,but i can find anything about a "timed" feature.

The only automatic function you should have is if you use the keyless to unlock and don't open the door within a short time it will re-lock.
