Does Autolock even fit the NSX? I do have pager alarm, ignition kill, and full coverage insurance, and never parked the car out side of pager alarm range, however it is possible that I may drive the NSX much more often in the future. I would like to add slightly more difficulty for the potential theif.

I have used the autolock on several other cars, works fine. Because of the NSX's clutch pedal position, I could not get the autolock to work. Anyone successfully used one on the NSX?

I use one. It fits nicely against the seat on the floor when not in use. I know it's not full proof but at least it'll slow 'em down!

I remember hearing from one of my friends that when his car was stolen, all he found was the autolock lying on the ground

Of course, he believes this was an inside job.

My cousin and my friend have one on their cars and from what i know they havent had their cars stolen yet.

Yes it will slow them down but not that much

There are a few ways to get it off fast from what I heard

1) the lock is the weak link and can be easily broken and opened I heard
2) The old cut the steering wheel and slide the bar out trick.
3) Never seen this done but a source told me they clip the bar off with a pair of 4 ft heavy duty bolt cutters

Can you please do me a favor? and check the model # you have? I really want to pick up a Autolock that fits my NSX. Thanks in advance.

I understand any professional thief can easily defeat this item, if they want it they can get it, useless against towing. As long as it can slow them down for a few seconds or minutes that is all it matters for me. Unless you have a better product suggestion (Other than Lo Jack style devices, I want someting that slows down/prevention, not recovery).

I do have autolock on my Supra and white clean as hell Civic SI hatchback for over 2 years, both of which are far more prone to be stolen than the NSX, I have parked at all kinds of questionable parking places/streets in Southern Cal, seems to do its job.

It's the AutoLock-X. Nice and shiny! I would take a pic for you but I don't have my digital camera right now...

From the design it looks like it keeps the brake from being depressed.
For automatic cars, it keeps brake from depressed. For manual cars, it keep clutch pedal from depressed. Seems to be very tough to defeat by cutting, as you can't cut the clutch pedal, they have to be able to pick the lock or drill it.

if some one is going to take ur car, there going to take it all those things do is slow them down. a friend of mine has a 911 with a removable steering wheel some a$$ broke in to steel it and was un able so they distroyed the car.

Can you please take some pics with anything, the picture quality does not matter, a pic from phone camera is fine as well.
I took the NSX out to Santa Monica today, for the first time in 2 years, I parked at somewhere I can't see for over 1 hour. Thankfully my no one triggered my alarm.

Before I made the trip I took the Autolock from my Supra and attempted it test fit it on NSX. No matter how hard I tried, no go. It usually takes me 5 sec to hook it up on any other car.
