Autoclub Speedway "Roval" track day August 13

It's been some time since my last track event at last year's NSXPO. So, I'm contemplating going to Autoclub Speedway on Saturday, August. 13. They will be utilizing the Full Course or "ROVAL" configuration. I've been there once before and enjoyed it. Much more fun than Willow Springs.


The price is $190 plus a $10 track fee. It's more fun to go with someone. Anyone have a need for speed?

I would love to go, but I'm afraid that I will blow my auto trans again ($3,100).

Hi Mario. Well, with an auto, you certainly did not fall victim to the infamous "money shift." I actually think I did but got away with it somehow. My on-track shifting is now much smoother, so hopefully that will never happen again. Hope you and your NSX are doing well.

I loved tracking my car so much at the NSXPO HPDE that I'm tempted to go, but im now committed to baby sittinng my grandson. Do they allow ridealongs LOL.

Thanks for sharing, Ferdie. One day, I will learn the limits of traction on street tires and be comfortable taking turn #1 at more speed. The thought of loosing it and crunching aluminum fenders on that concrete wall is enough to make me lift- for now. Perhaps we'll meet at Autoclub Speedway one day again.
