Autobahn July 9 2011 Any Takers??

The GM of the Autobahn in Joliet Ill wants to set up a date for the Prime members on July 7 2011 @ 10:30am arrival at the Autobahn. The Autobahn is hosting the NASA races and he stated it would be a good time to meet, watch the races, karting, and just have fun. Hotels are plenty in the Joliet area and Casinos. I could also set up a group dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant in Woodridge IL?

Schedule is as follow:

10:30am arrival
11:00-12:00pm NSX mini car show (pictures etc.)
12:00-12:45PM lunch at the Café on site.
01:00PM-01:30PM 30 minutes touring drive on the track. (No Helmets need)
02:00PM-04:00PM either watch the races or you can do Karting!

Entrance Fee is $5.00 per person
Touring cost is $15.00 per car.
Karting cost is $25.00 for 15 minutes.
All cost is paid in cash.

I plan on my first event @ Autobahn this fall, so this would be a good opportunity to check out the course even if it's a lapping event. Sign me up!

Looks like it is NASA Midwest Region. If I'm driving to Chicago, then I'm running the track. :wink:

HOW CAN YOU GO TO A ROAD COURSE AND THEN ONLY DRIVE KARTS????

That's like going to Pebble Beach or Augusta to play mini golf.
