Had a great weekend at Autobahn CC, videos to follow.

At the age of 3, Joey Ackerman sets the new lap record at Autobahn Country Club. An official protest was filed as competitors complained that Joey has a distinct weight advantage. When asked for comment Joey responded, "if you an't first, you're last! They can kiss my exhaust pipe."

Your car is immaculate! How could you drive that track and not even have a bug on your bumper? My car looks like it has a beard, furry eyebrows and a bad case of acne.

That was a great group and I'll be adding their schedule to mine. How crowded are the Putnam events?

The Putnam events are usually a little more crowded, but overall MUCH better than NASA. The advanced group usually has about 20 cars. But with the passing anywhere you never get stuck behind someone.

The last time I was at Autobahn was 4 years ago and I'm not a big fan of the North track, but enjoyed the South. I was just looking at my data logger and not too proud of my lap times. Best lap on the South was 138.7 (Dunlop Z1 Star Specs).

Was your Subbie the yellow one? Sorry I didn't have a chance to chat, Dad and my little brother showed up with the kids who were quite the handful.

Yes, that was me.

That's actually a pretty decent lap time. The NASA TTB record is a 1:35.3 from an Evo on 245 Hoosiers. My best is only a 1:38 hence my perpetual 2nd and 3rd in TTB. I only managed a 1:40 on Sunday. Next time I plan to bring along Danny P. or Tony W. to scream at me for driving too slow.

I thought I was running slow since Aaron was pulling 134.0 in his S2000 with a passenger (Silver one with big wing on the back running 245 R6s).

While Aaron is a nice guy and great driver, he has a checkered past in the NASA world after breaking track records in TTC at Putnam but forgetting to include substantial points on his classification form. I think it was a somewhat harmless oversight on his part, but he got called out on it. He probably was driving in B trim at Autobahn as I don't think he can use the wing and stay in C. I believe he officially broke the record in the fall 2009 Putnam event using the proper points. He will be extremely competitive at Autobahn as the C record is only 1:37.3.

Hi Jim,
It was great having you at Autobahn. Hopefully next year I will get the full track for the entire day.

He set the new record TTC at 1:34.XX this past weekend. It is faster than both the TTA and TTB records.
