That is massive damage for what is supose to be a "riskfree" event.
Poor course design and terrible judgement from the organizers.
People, if you're at an event such as this and something does not feel right, adjust your plan. If parking is in a poor location, park elsewhere. If you dont like the design of the course, for whatever reason, skip it. Please do not assume that the organizers have considered all situations. Please look out for yourself.

with insurance companies getting like most of them are today, I am sure quite a few people at that event are going to be writing their whole car off... unwillingly or not...
Reminds me of when an NSX got taken out at a track event when a car spun into the infield and hit a few parked cars. It seems there's danger everywhere...
