There seems to be a lot of talk about these two lately.

I just found an old issue of C&D from 95 that tested both.

Here are the results.

Both are 1995
5-speed, Auto
Weight: 3110, 3180
0-60: 5.2,5.8
5-60: 5.7, 6.3
0-100: 13.0, 14.7
0-130: 24.7, 30.6
0-150: 45.5, 71.6
1/4: 13.8 @103MPH, 14.4 @99MPH
Top Speed: 162, 154

There is just no replacement of a manual down shift.

My daily driver is a 6 Speed and I just feel Im in more control of the road with my manual transmission.

You save gas mileage.

And if you are comparing track times then manual is the way to go. No one really takes a auto on the track (Maybe triptronic) Especially a car as hot and so functional and great handling an NSX is manual is the way to go.
