Auto Trunk Latch release issue.

Ok, so...

When I flip the switch inside the car, I can hear the latch "pop", but when I go the the trunk it is still locked tight and I have to use the key.

Any suggestions? (Before I start taking it all apart...)

My guess is you're hearing the solenoid, but the pull cable that runs from there (near the antenna assembly I believe) to the trunk latch is probably disconnected. Sounds like a relatively simple fix, should be easy to figure out once you get inside there.. Find the diagram in the service manual to see the proper connections..
