Hello, I have had my nsx for over 2 years now, I love it that much, however I always wanted a manual one, due to the fact that nsx's are hard to buy in australia.

Is there easy and cheap way to put a manual 5 speed in my nsx and take out the auto without spending a crazy amount.

and has anyone done this before?

Thank you
Joel

Lol. I don't know about easy or cheap, but it's definatly done. I don't like to be the "do a search" guy, but this is talked about a ton on these forums. Have you checked out Science of Speed's website yet? They have transmissions for sale, as do a few people on here. It can be done. My only question would be, then you have the de-tuned motor in a manual shift car. So now you have to look at what upgrades need to be done to at least give you the "stock" power of the manual NSX. I'm sure this has to do with the engine management.

Its the cams and engine management. Its been done before, still not cheap though. Another member converted his manual RHD to LHD in Australia, seems like the company did a good job, so they may be a good place to start as they have at least worked extensively on an NSX before even if it wasn't automatic.
