Any one attended one of these? This was put on by GM here in the Kansas City area this weekend. You show up, register, and drive any and all of the 150+ cars on hand. Most all GM cars are present and quite a lot of their competitors cars. I personally drove a Z06, GTO, TL, CTS, two different supercharged pontiacs, an SSR, Altima, MDX, and got to see (but not drive) the new '05 Corvette. Spent about 3.5 hrs. there and had the time of my life. Best part-NO SALESMEN at all. They also give you a free lunch-simple but filling. You can drive any of the cars as often as you wish (except for the corvettes and SSR's-one time each). They have an autocross type course set with cones and as long as you don't go completely crazy and wipe out all the cones they really didn't care how fast you drive! It was a total blast! And the best part was it was totally free. When and if this event comes to your locale I would highly recommend it.
