"auto down" function for pass side?

Just wondering if anyone has tried this mod yet. I know on my F350 you can mod the drivers side switches to do a "one touch auto down" for the pass side window (so you don't have to hold the switch down to roll the window all the way down). This would be pretty handy when initially getting in and putting on your seatbelt and starting your car and rolling down the windows all at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get auto up and down for all windows through an aftermarket alarm/remote start system. I have this on my Navigator. I forget the name of my alrm on that truck but I'm sure its common these days on alot of alarms.

Thanks for your reply.

I know you can get that through an alarm system, but I want to be able to do it while driving. It's just something to make my drive a little safer (without having to keep one hand on the down button for the passenger side and watching the window to make sure it's all the way down).

There are aftermarket boxes that allow you to do this without the addition of an alarm. An old brand that I'm not sure they even make anymore was Twindows. They wired in-line between the factory switch and window motor. Easy to wire in yourself and they even sense if an object is obstructing the closing of the window and stop when too much current is being drawn.

Thanx Z and Doc, I'll check into it...

That is what I'm talking about also. I have 2 sheets of limo tint on all windows of my truck. I have to lower my windows at every intersection in order to turn, so they are constantly going up & down. For any of the 4 windows I have auto up and down and its a life saver. If its helps I dad it done at Mobile Audio in Mesa, AZ. about 4 yrs ago, I guess you could call?

There's a module called Smartwindows made by Clifford. I'm not sure if it can work without an alarm system, but when I had it installed it converted every window into auto up/down.

The window modules for DEI alarm systems do this even without am aftermarket alarm. I have this on my car, both windows go up and down with one touch. It can be hooked up without an alarm as I don't use my aftermarket alarm/ since I feel my factory anti-theft works fine. Check out a reputable stereo/alarm shop in your area for this.
