Austin: Proposal --> Last Sunday of Every Month Meet <--

Given that the Houston crowd now has their own sub-forum, I figured it was about time we had at least a monthly get together.

So I am proposing the last Sunday of every month we meet up for various morning activities usually involving breakfast and a drive finishing up around noon to 1pm.

For this Sunday, January, 25th, 2009

Date: January 25th, 2009
Time: 9:00am
Meeting Location: Rudy's 620 and 2222
Drive Out Time: 10:00am
Route: Hill Country Drive ~2 hours. I am scouting the route out Saturday.
Lunch: ~1:00pm Bone Daddy's (Location 183 North near Duval)

The plan will change monthly. This means starting locations, drives and lunch stops. If you need my number PM me.

Alright you got me, I guess I'll have to make it now....darn :tongue:. I'm going to try my best to take her out. My main issue is the drive out there, I'm forty five minutes or so from there.

My personal statement is no reflection of the quality of the food/service, it's a reflection of the reality that I just don't eat 99.999% of the eatz that they offer. (not that I'm an herbivore, either)

I am pondering an informal brunch/get-together at my residence (ie. pad/crib/jiggin'-joint) on Sunday (late-morning/early-afternoon) for all NSX enthusiasts in the area. We all can chit-chat more comfortably whether indoors -or- outdoors in the back, and the location isn't too out-of-the-way for those lookin' for a scenic jaunt. But, I'm afraid I'm swamped w/ some ongoing home-projects (as well still undecided if I want to actually clean the house). I'll have a definitive answer later this week. Stay tuned. . .

Is Chuy's open on Sunday morning? What about the breakfast burrito place just up from the college (TU)?

I'd volunteer my sister's place, but she doesn't have any food that most people would eat, if any food at all. And it would be impolite to throw brunch at her house.

I'm 99% sure I'll be in Austin this weekend, and plan to attend and represent the Corpus Christi NSX club (Nick and I).
