A friend from around the way helps organize these. Should be a few familiar faces there as well. There will also be some neat rides, and the location (Hill Country Galleria, off Bee Caves & Ranch-620) is relatively new & rather scenic.

Let's get a crew together & check it out. Also, there are many places to eat around in the general area. This can serve as the January '10 The-Last-Sunday-of-the-Month Austin area meetups we generally have (sans: November in lieu of '09 NSXCraze II & December due to holidays).

If you have an interest in attending this, drop a line here. We can setup a meeting time & spot (North or Central location), then head over as a group & park together. It should be a good time w/ seeing some nice cars, socializing, and then just go do our own thing at a nearby dining venue of choice. . .

I'm going to be nearby for The Driver's Edge at HHR on the 23/24, which I think is scheduled to go until 6pm, but I'd like to catch up to you guys afterward. My car will probably be really dirty at that point :biggrin:

Ok, so here's the game-plan fella's...

3.30pm - meet @ Kerbey Lane Northwest parking-lot, off Anderson Mill Rd. (13435 Hwy 183 N Ste. 415, Austin, TX 78750)

4.00pm - depart for Hill Country Galleria @ 4pm sharp (!), via Anderson Mill Rd. -> 620 -> Bee Caves

4.30pm - arrive at Hill Country Galleria, park as a group (need to get there at least 30mins' prior to 5pm to have reserved group parking, as a courtesy to the organizers)

5.00pm - hang-out, socialize, grab a bite to eat somewhere thereabouts...

I should be out there, but I'll be in the S2, not the NSX....

Cool man, if you wanna drive over w/ it us, it's all good (details posted just above). Otherwise, we'll likely cross paths there.

If you can't make it to this gathering due to the time/drive from San Marcos, there is another gathering (meet-&-greet, show/cruise) for high-performance sports-cars (Vipers, Corvettes, Supras, etc') @ the "Y" (Austin's YMCA South in Oak Hill) @ 4.30pm+, and apparently a second wave of folks may be arriving from H2R (Lotus club & others) later in the evening.

I know you guys are meeting up before hand and already have plans for Kerbey lane. I just wanted to post this up, since there is also a group meeting at the "Y" at Oak Hill (71 / 290) at 4:30. We didn't get reserved parking because I'm not sure how long we are going to stay, since we kinda wanted to get out and cruise. It would have been cool to meet up with you guys somewhere before hand, but maybe we can next time around. Anyhoo, if you are a straggler and can't meet up with the Kerbey lane group, you can probably catch us at the "Y". Hope to see everyone there! Another great organized meet put together by Omar!

Car show was a lot of fun, there were a lot of excellent cars out there. Not really any exotics, but quite a few imports. Hondas; (a few very clean preludes, and Civc Si's), Toyota; Several tricked out scions, Lexus; A few on the 3rd Level; Subaru (a very cool Forester coverted to a WRX STI). I didn't see many Mustangs, Vettes but I know they were around somewhere.

Here is a good picture set posted by Cozmo, over on the Austin Exotic Car board. Gives a taste of some of the cars that met up at the "Y". We had about 60 cars there total but had to scatter about when we got to the meet because of no parking. Most of us parked in Parking Garage "A". I think one or two cars made it over to Parking Garage "C". Wish we could have met up with you guys but it was kinda hektic and we all got split up pretty bad.

Although the cupcake meet wasn't really my kind of thing, I'm glad I went. It's cool to see other folks enjoying their cars. Thanks Frog for organizing this event. In my mind I envisioned our cars driving through the parking garage setting off alarms.

Meeting at the Y. We had a diverse group of really nice cars there. I had more fun at this meeting than at the cupcake gathering. :lol:

The cupcake event was well attended. They filled up a 5 story parking garage and had a lot of cars leftover.

They had lots of loud rap music and some models.

They were giving away NOS drinks for free. I got an orange one and a couple of key chains.
