Gday fellow NSXer's.
I'll be making the trip up for NSXPO 2005 in Phoenix but before I head down I plan to have a few days of relaxation in Las Vegas and los angeles.

Looking for advice on acommodation, sights and attractions and any NSX's :)

Las Vegas I was thinking the venetian or New York and seeing Elton John and Celine Dion at Ceasars Palace.

I'll be travelling alone and am young and single. So yeah there to have fun.

Any input would be appreciated for this guy from Down under.

Driving or flying in?

From Australia?:D

He has a really cool car, but the Pacific is a mighty big road course to conquer, even for an NSX!!!

Not too much difference on regards to partying, but the hotels (the exclusive, expensive ones) will probably be about 3X as much on the weekends as they are on the weekdays.

schuey- I noticed that too!

any1 have any experiences with the hotels ?

Venetian/NY are some good choices. Just pick the one on the strip since you'll be doing a lot of walking around different casinos. Bellagio/caesars are good ones too but expensive. Imperial Palace is not the greatest, but it's cheap and it's located in the middle of the strip. Monte Carlo/Mandalay Bay are on the strip..and they're average. You'll be spending most of your time exploring the whole strip. The weekend/holidays are their busiest time...more fun. On weekday, you get the "usual" "senior citizien" playing slots/cards inside the casino. On the weekend, you get the younger crowds coming out to party at night.

Hmmm...LA...hit the clubs at night...you'll have a blast. LA is huge..too many clubs. I haven't been there for awhile, but there's a place called "The Sharks" (located in Orange County I think) and it has a good mix of crowd..but mostly asians. If you have your NSX there, i'm pretty sure you'll be driving many gorgeous girls home. I must admit...LA girls are HOT!

The Shark Club is in Costa Mesa, it's about 45 mins away from LA. You should try maybe the White Lotus or IVAR in LA, it's alot closer.

Don't forget V2O in Long Beach or the world famous Century Club that you hear about in all the hip hop songs. They're a bit larger than the clubs mentioned so far and pretty nice. V2O is still pretty new and is right next to the Ocean.

White Lotus & Garden of Eden are prime Hollywood clubs that are harder to get into and it's in a crowded section of town. You'll have a chance at seeing stars there. I hate valet services in that area though.

I'd recommend V2O for a good time. Easy parking, really nice large club, ample parking, great area, and hotties...

Coming from someone who visits Vegas about once a month, I will give you my opinions. I have stayed at every decent hotel in Vegas, but this will just be MY OPINION.

Out of all "the expensive hotels" I would say that The Venetian is the best. Behind that price wise would be The Mandalay Bay. You want a nice hotel, and to spend a little less money, I would recommend Monte Carlo or New York New York. If this is your first (and perhaps last trip to Vegas) you MUST stay at The Hard Rock Hotel. The pool, the ladies, the center bar, the pink taco, nobu, the ladies, and did I mention the finest strip club in town is right across the street in Club Paradise.
