It's strange how the frame looks like it was made in someone's garage.
Man, I love that car.
I was thinking the same thing. Compare it to the Ford GT frame sometime-- which looks more along the lines of what I expected.
Though I'll have to say, after hearing and seeing one at RA this weekend, It's high on my list for my next car.
Yes, it is exquisite. I mean, even Heidi Klum's frame looks like everyone else's. It's the covering that makes it unique! :wink:

Wait until you drive one. I had the opportunity to take one through some mountain roads up on Skyline and over the hill, and it was SUH-WEET!!! What a car! Effortless driving, effortless power. You just hit the accelerator, and it GOES. Much faster than my NSX.

I think the NSX looks better than the R8 in that pic, the R8 looks like a 350z in that pic.
Is it me or are the the lugnuts replace with lug-bolts? Never seen that type before. maybe the studs are just removed.
After seeing the R8 in person last Saturday at the ALMS at Road America, I like it even more. It's a wider car in person, and sounds fantastic. The only drawback are the goofy off-color blade panels. You have to get the right color combination to make it look OK.

They say it's just a Gallardo re body.
Seen it 2 or 3 time it's "OK" don't really like it.
