Hi

I am checking up on a NSX for sale here in Norway

You can find it here

According to the seller it was bought in Zurich (recently in 2004).

It's VIN number is JHMNA11500T000091 so it is a early model. It has aftermarket exhaust and a aftermarket antenna.

It has been serviced at "Schliren Auto Zurich West". I could not find that firm on the net anywhere and it is probably a typo.

Does anyone in Switzerland know this car or the dealership I am referring to?

According to the seller it has 81.xxx km on the meter.

Thanks in advance

Hi Martin,

That's the dealer you're looking for: www.azw.ch
Auto Züri West is a big dealer who let's the car's (and buyers) out in the rain. :( They have very big parking spaces but I've never seen where they 'service' their cars. IMO they don't do any services at all, they're only box movers or if they do so they only do the absolut minimum. :( Perhaps most of the people are happy with the cars of AZW, I personally wouldn't buy a car there, but that's only my opinion of course. :)
Be careful and do deep investigations in the full history of the car. I wouldn't be surprised if the car was in an accident. Why does the seller want to sell it? He bought it in 2004. Be very careful.

Greetings,
Thomas

Hi Martin

Just wondering what the price is in Euro?
If your seeking some Swiss NSX's you probably can buy mine in a year or two. :D

Greetings from Switzerland :)

Hi

Thanks for your help

I have a NSX which I bought from Gheba.

Only interest I have in this NSX is that I smell a rat. I have heard that this NSX had 181.xxx km before it entered Norway.

I try to check out as much as I can find out about this car because I do not want anyone to buy it if it is a dirty rat.

Regards

Ouuuu! :( That hurts! How did you find out it had 181'xxx km? Gangsters are working very professionally with odometers. What does the service book say about service dates? Is there any? Do you think the service book was 'turned back' too? How did they do that?

Greetings,
Thomas

Hi

Many questions that I do not have the answer to :frown:

What I have is "hearsay" at this moment. I am trying to get it confirmed that a guy I know has a ad printout of this car with another odomoter than it has now. He are supposed to have the "orginal ad" from before it was imported to Norway.

It has a "complete service manual" with "everything" done according to the firm that sells it. I have not seen it myself so I do not know. So before I can get anything confirmed (if I ever will) I can not really say that something bad has happened to this car.

I have gotten the serialnumber on the transmission too. It is not in Snap ring and that is good.

Regards

If the car has 100'000 km more than on the odo that's no good at all IMO even if the transmission is out of snap ring range.

Hello martin, as you know (you have one :) ) in the Swiss service book you have the exhaust gas measurement done every year with the mileage. If that page is missing... smell smell smell like fraud!

I had forgotten about that. :)

Since this NSX was imported to Norway during 2004, have you by any chance seen this NSX it in Switzerland?

It has standard wheels and I do not think it is delivered with any other. Remus exhaust.

I will keep checking this car to see what I can find out about it.

Regards

No I do not know it, it is a very common looking one (Remus is on at least 50% of the NSX here)... but if someone is near you can ask him to check the service book and everything wil be clear... ;)

Hi

I have called the firm and asked about the smog test papers. He said he would check and call me back.

It just makes me a bit angry if the speedo has been rolled back. That is why I am interested in this car.
