I have eibachs on my car but it looks really low. Was wondering whether you can tell me how many "finger gaps" do you have in the front and rear between the fender and the tire as comparison. Thanks.

Ryan

I don't know about finger gaps, but my front tire is 1.5" from the bottom edge of the fender. The back is 2". I have only Eibachs and no other suspension mods.

I can't measure right now (the car is covered and it's raining) but here is a picture of my car, lowered with Eibachs, with 17"/18" wheels.

Hey Ryan,

I have had Eibach's on my 1991 for three years now. I have stock 15/16's absolutely no rubbing at all.

I run the car in a spirited manner, so I have compressed the suspension fully, and have even hit the bump stops a few times, no rubbing.

The car came down about an 1" as is described about these springs. My car has 30K miles and original OEM shocks.

A while ago there was a thread about POSSIBLY a bad batch of Eibach's. I have not substantiated that, so I do not want to start or extend a rumor, but I recall it about a year ago or less.

Are you running stock shocks? If you have installed Bilstiens, and used the lower perch I would think you are down about 2".

Just grasping here.

HTH,
LarryB
