I haven't seen that error before. Real Player is pretty quirky software though. If you purchased the Plus version I believe you are entitled to free tech support. Check www.real.com
Are you either behind a proxy server or firewall or do you have multiple Internet connections set up on your computer? Those are where I've seen more Real Player problems in the past.
