Are there ANY aftermarket wheels in proper offset?

I'd like to purchase some lightweight wheels, but from this site it seems noone makes wheels to match the factory offset (which are unusual -but for good cause)

Am I missing something?

I don't have much interest in changing a +55 offset front to a +42.

Thanks

Why don't you tell us what you are trying to accomplish with the new wheels and your understanding of wheel sizes and offsets in general. Then perhaps we can figure out what you are missing.

They dont have to have the same offset as factory to fit correctly....

Like I said, I'm not interested in how I can rationalize using the wrong offset.

I know some have been forced to do that because of difficulty finding correct offset. Others have a desire to increase wheel width and so offset, for them, is a secondary concern.

But an increase in kingpin offset is not something I can accept.

The question is simple. Are there any lightweight 15 x 6.5 wheels with 55mm offset and the correct bolt PCD?

I'm not interested in a discussion about offset, I'm asking if anyone has found a source.

oem offsets are....

1 ugly
2 engineering wise over-rated
3 not necessary
4 yes we can find some wheels for you
5 even the NSX does not stay consistant throughout the mfg run with offsets

Lastly.... if you are "so" much a "pro-oem" guy to stick to the oem offsets, why are you looking at aftermarket wheels? Your logic makes no sense. If you think the oem offsets are perfect, you too should think that the oem wheels are too.

#4 "yes we can find some wheels for you"

Please let me know what is available.

As for the other comments, I am considering aftermarket wheels because Honda's 'A' design requirement is very conservative, and therefore heavy (even for a forged wheel).

Further, front offset was always consistent.
There is a tremendous difference between changing rear offset and changing front offset. -"engineering-wise"
Comments like that are why I'm not interested in the discussion.

Why all the hostility?

Would you care to educate us the "tremendous" difference between changing rear offset and changing front offset engineeringwise?
So if the dogmatic Honda "engineering" and front offset that you obviously so inclined to adhere to is the rule, wouldn't changing to a lighter wheel alter the front/rear balance, handling, and so on in your engineering book? If that whatever "A" design that you referred to is so "conservative", then what about the front offset? Hey Tom, if you can also find our friend a set of wheels that also have the all Honda semi-circle lug seats instead of the incorrect cone seats, that will be perfect.
Hmmmmmm......

You can always consider the Zanardi wheel. It offers lighter weight, and is an OEM option that addresses your concerns.

As to the exact weight savings, I believe there are some previous posts that have that information or if you call your local Acura Parts Department, they should have that info.

Good Luck.

No that won't do. The guy specifically only wants to have 15x6.5 et 55mm wheels. See post #4. The Zanardis are too big.

You know even if I do find a set, they will not be the right color, or spoke shape, or weight, or not in stock, or my favorite, will not clear the calipers, thus needing spacers, extended lugs, but wait this will alter the offset. Oh well back to the drawing board.

It is late, and I am being foolish......
