Are 1998 models "Coveted?"

I am looking at a 1998 NSX (with low miles). It is priced $15k more than a 1995 NSX that had similar mileage ($40k vs $55k). The owner claims that 1998 NSX's are rare & coveted by NSX enthusiasts. Is this factual? If so, why? What do 1998 models have that '95 & '96 models don't besides the 6 speed?

I would think that some people may find MY97+ cars more desirable due to the 3.2l engine and 6-speed transmission compared to earlier models, but as for MY98s in particular I am not sure

They're no more rare than any other '97+ NSX.
