Mine keeps on disconnecting and sometimes freezes up especially when the music is playing and GPS wants to make an announcement.
Android Auto is slightly more stable.
This is with both wired and wireless connection

Anyway to update it?

from my acura dealer. disconnect battery and zip tie both +- for 15 mins and reinstall. this is what they do for other acura/honda cars. double check with service specialist re: nsx

Master tech that works on NSX every day said the 17s software is android based so Apple play does not function as well as Android Auto. And there is no software update.

If enough of us complain to Acura they will come out with a software update. Apple car play does not function at all if trying to use gps and play music at the same time.

Anyone use with an iPhone 16 pro?
The whole media system flickers and reboots. This is dangerous while driving.

I recently upgraded to 16 Pro (from 14) and no issues. I haven’t any issues with Apple Carplay, since I had the car.

I've had constant issues since I bought my car in 2022, sucks. Might get a new phone soon, will circle back.

Oh, and I always use an Apple cable.
I use Apple cable and Usb C adaptor from Apple does not help. Android phone works fine regardless of the cable or wireless

This issue arises when using google, Waze, or Apple maps. the audio works fine

Have you tried resetting your CarPlay Settings.

• On your iPhone, navigate to Settings > General > CarPlay, select your vehicle, and choose “Forget This Car.” Then, set up CarPlay again

I would also delete the iPhone from the Acura Bluetooth system.

1. Turn on the vehicle and ensure the infotainment system is powered on.

2. Press the “Settings” button on the center console or access the settings through the touchscreen.

3. Select “Phone Settings” or “Bluetooth” from the menu.

4. Choose “Bluetooth Device List” (or a similar option).

5. Scroll to the phone you want to delete and select it.

6. Select “Delete” or “Remove” and confirm the deletion.

I did all that. Pulled the battery too
Latest iOS apparently addressed some CarPlay issues but unrelated to stability with our car
