Anything I can do to raise the car up temporarily?

I'm riding on OEM shocks and Eibach springs, and the Kei Office Front lip is so low that worries me on my trip driving the car back from CA to Denver, CO.

I am no expert, but will bushings or something be used to make the car ride higher?

Appreciate the info. Thanks.

Not much could be done, short of placing spacers above the shock assemblies or between the springs and hats. For the amount of work involved, it would be easier to go back to stock springs. Could you leave the lip in CA? IMO it's probably easier to remove the lip than to increase the ride height. Have you made the drive before? Once you get out of CA the roads are good, just be careful when you pull over to rest. Hope the roads are clear with no snow.

Back when I was in school. the guys with pickups used to jack their back ends up, insert a small piece of 2x4 in between the rear springs and then lower back down. It gave that raised look on the back. That usually held up for a month before busting out....

doubtful you'd want to do this on your X

Just for reference, I have just barely 3 1/2" of clearance with my lip, and the only thing that I need to worry about is getting in and out of driveways. I don't have to think about it otherwise.

a long trip like that, you really cant change the height without alignment. If it was a short trip you can get rubber spring spacers at Pepboys.

it is like a 1" think rubber ring with groves for the springs to sit on..

If you're worring about it, don't go back to CO. We need you too hook us up with booze. But if you must, stick a skate board under the car and you are good to go :D Seriously, you have nothing to worry about. Look at Grahme's car ...or my car. We're the lowwwwwly crew :D and proud.
