Anything going on in SD weekend of 15/16?

Nothing planned as of yet, but that doesn't mean we can't start making arrangements.

If something gets set up im in. I have been trying to make a meet for awhile but have been busy. Im down like a clown charlie brown.:biggrin:
If I can get clearance from the wife for time away from the family, are you guys up for a drive on Saturday the 15th. I'd hope to start around 8:30AM and be done by about 2:00PM.

I'm booked on Saturday the 15th, but if you end up deciding to go on Sunday, I might be able to make it.
I've never been on a drive...in fact, my first NSX won't be here for about another week or so. Where do you typically go from San Diego? Julian? One of the Casinos? Up the coast?

Looks like I won't be able to set up a drive on Saturday the 15th. I'm already going to a big Acura meet on the 16th, and my wife won't let me cash in two "E" tickets on the same weekend. :redface: I'm trying to see if I can get a drive setup on the 29th of July if you guys are still interested.
Still, the fact that I can't make it for that particular weekend shouldn't prevent someone else from setting something up. Anyone?

The Tax Relief Drive in April took us through Idyllwild. Great scenery. Unfortunately, that ends up being kind of far for us S.D. drivers. We usually make a pass through Palomar Mountain, and sometimes by Julian and some of the North County casinos. Since the coastal route has more traffic and quite a few stoplights, it tends more to be a cruise route rather than for spirited driving.orbusrex said:

The car is great! In fact...better than great. I'm still getting familar with though. I'm looking forward to hooking up with some of the other owners here in San Diego to learn more about the car and go on some drives.
