Just starting an impromptu poll. I corner-balanced my car this weekend (big thanks to Billy for letting me borrow his scales), and noticed that, with about 1/4 tank of gas in the car, that the total NSX weight (without me) was 2869 lbs.

Anyone else weigh their car recently? I checked the faq, and noticed that the numbers in there seemed a bit higher??? I haven't done much to reduce the weight in my car (no engine cover, no tool kit (was using the tools), no spare) - that's about it.

Currently my cross-weights are off by 5 pounds total (close enough for me), 42% front, 58% rear, and 51% left, 49% right.

1st gen, right? Is it supercharged? I would love to find one of those used here in Austin. Fun car.

Figure around 9m pounds per gallon of gas, assume I was down 10 gallons, that puts me right near your number. Not bad!

What have you done to lighten your NSX, Kenji?

My 97-T weighed 2940 with a quarter tank.

edit-This is with pulled spare,lightened battery(12lbs),Rm exhaust,pulled engine cover,Carbon Intake,pulled rear tow hooks,and punched cats.

My 92 NSX weighted in at 3180 lbs with Twin Turbo, full tank of gas, myself (175 lbs), and all the stereo (dvd, mp3 player, custom fiberglass door speaker panels with 6 1/2 infinity seperates, 3 rockford fosgate amps, and a very big interstate battery) turbo electronics (boost controller, turbo timer, power meter id, hks camp system)
