Anyone using a Hybrid Pro HNR?

I figured I need to get a little early Christmas shopping done for myself since my helmet is an SA2000 so I might as well plan to get an HNR device with the new SA2010 helmet.

There have been threads that have included discussions of the HANS as well as some discussion of other options but I didn't find anything dedicated to the Hybrid:

By way of background, my '96-T is both a daily driver and track rat equipped with stock seats, harness bar and Schroth 5 points for both driver and passenger. I use a racing cushion on the track because of the lack of headroom with a helmet and the seat is somewhat reclined and moved forward for comfort. I have 85 track days and over 10,000 track miles in this NSX.

I realize this is not an ideal setup but there are always tradeoffs you need to make. With the speeds being run in Open Track I figure it is time to get an HNR and was looking at the Hybrid which would work independently of the harness belts currently being used.

Anyone have experience with it? Any preference between fixed and sliding tethers?

That is where I first came up with the idea of getting one but I haven't seen any feedback from people who have tried it out, especially in the NSX.

Also, do you know what those front "green tethers" attach to?

Couple of things...

First, these devices are wonderful, but iffy in cars with little head clearance. I've had a HANS device for some time but will not use it in the NSX (even with my Dali cushion) (six point belts too) because of concerns in a roll over. Only use it in cars with excellent rollover protection.

Also, an old time NSX club guy is COO of HANS and if you contact him he might be able to help with info, etc. I will private his info to those who want it.

Bob you're probably better off posting on some other forums. Info here will be limited.
