I first heard about it on the RX7club where there are a handful of folks that converted from either dino oil or Redline Oil to NEO with great results and feedback.

Some excerpts from their site:

"....NEO is proud to be the official and only lubricant recommended by X-Trac for all their gearboxes and was used by 8 out of the top ten finishers at Lemans in last year and 75% of all entrants in recent years.

When you use any of the NEO SYNTHETIC MOTOR OILS you:

DON'T NEED TEFLONS ...... DON'T NEED MOLY'S

DON'T NEED GRAPHITES

NEO has compared it's synthetic oils to most of the others by using the Falex Extreme Pressure and Friction Modification Tester, ASTM - 3323.

In all instances, the NEO oils provided less friction and more metal protection...

By themselves and without any other additives... Than any of the popular oil additives even when used in the most popular best - selling synthetics.
