The thing looks sick! I guess from the article, the guy makes CF motorcycle parts and wonted to showcase his CF fabricating skills so he took the Burn-up body kit and made a mold to make full CF pieces. Even the doors are CF:eek: . I believe it is in this months Issue.

Yup...I got it 3 days ago, she's definitely a beauty!!! That thing must cost an arm and a leg, thank god he's the one who owns the bussiness!!

yes, the doors were completely changed... but i'm sure again, the net weight loss is very minimal... but looks SUPer SNAZZzyy...

That is sweet. However, it must be a bummer to spend all that money and not be able to say you saved tons of weight vs the aluminum chassis. Just seems like a waste to spend that munch and the car is only marginally lighter or quicker.

Those pics are very old. I saw that car at least 3 years ago....Cool none the less. It inspired me to do mine in all CF. The weight savings was minimal, but the cool factor is there for sure and when Uehara(father of the NSX) signed my car at NSXPO this year, he was very excited about it..."Ahhh Carbon" (say in strong japanese accent:smile: )

Definitely awesome. Althought i'm surprised he didn't do the headlight covers, B Pillar, fuel door, mirrors, etc etc...but thats alot of work...Kudo's

thats what i thought when i saw it a few days ago... he did all the hard stuff but left all the easy stuff  awesome regardless... i want to know the weight differential between what he made and the part he was replacing... somebody needs to find an email and get us some CF parts made haha

The doors are completely CF. He added all the OEM holes so everything fits like stock but there is no door panel so all the wires are nicely tied down but fully exposed. Very Clean set-up....Kudos

I think all that exposed cf is ugly. Paint it. It looks like you're driving a basket.

exposed CF fenders and crap like that on a focus, civics, etc look UGLY.... exposed CF parts (specially when the whole car is done that way) on nsx.... HOT...

If the photos I have are the same car, then they are 2-3 years old.
Seth's NSX is a wide body '02+ conversion, this one is not. From what it looks like the car in the photos is originally red, if he went through so much time and money spent on the c/f panels he should have painted inner posts and rockers black to match the exterior.

I agree 100% with you. It looks like the car was tailored with a fifty buck twill suit from Target. Not only that but the structural rigidity of the car has been severely compromised.

Man, it would drive me nuts to not have the door panels on and still not have everything paint matched (ie. the red paint). I would feel like the car is not finished.

but cool nonetheless...

yeah... they should have painted the red at least black...
