Wow.. talk about depressing. For those who missed the story entirely..

Basically.. scum grabs 5 yr old, kicking and screaming, from her front yard, rapes and then kills her by compressing her chest so she can't breathe. Mother faces convicted felon and makes speech at his sentencing.
 
These types of stories rip my heart out. I always think of my kids and it makes me wonder what is wrong with people. I give that mom a lot of credit to be able to approach this situation so bravely.
