Just wondering what psi people are getting away with on the 17/17 setup.
Our roads are the shits and for some reason I was running 36/42 and having a very very rough ride. I have lowered down the pressure a few times and am down to 30/32 and I am enjoying it. This is my setup:
She has the 5Zigen FN01R-C Hyperblack 17/17.
17x8 - 43 offset front - 225/35/17 - no ecc. ring required.
17x9 - 43 offset rear - 255/40/17 - Pather hub rings

Let me know - Thanks!!!

p.s. Do all cars and wider wheel setups pull in the truck ruts?

I have an 02 with 17-17 (factory) and run the 33F 40R as per specs, and have no problems with ride or handling

I threw on my stock 15/16s with toyo fz4s yesterday and cant believe the ride.
This car rides like a dream boat now.
It looks like shit but rides nice!!!
I wish I lived somewheres with good roads.
So, on long trips out of Edmonton, I will use stock wheels.
In town for fun, it will be 17/17s.

I think i ran 30 32 for a while for my 17/18 setup, the side of the tires wearout really fast, at least that's the case for me with my previous alignment setup. so you need to be aware of the tirewear, check it often.

I've found mine (and I've had 15/16, 16/17, and 17/17) rides/handles best when I'm at 33/40. In fact I can tell when I have a low tire because the ride worsens (bumps are more noticed). Too high and the ride gets jittery and less stick. This is for a purely street driven car, and I've had stock as well as my current Bilstein on lower perch.
