From the dimensions this looks like a close fit for the ashtray area. You would need to hide the box, but I am unsure if this would fit without being able to go back to stock. No cutting. No SOS piece.

So if you have one let me know how you like it. If you don't but are curious take a look at the deminsions below and let me know what you think.

Controller/Display: 4.532" W x 1.764" H x 1" D
Cradle
Overall: 5.814" W x 2.239" H x 0.549" D (1.083" including mounted controller/display)
Cutout (for flush mount): 4.689" W x 1.933" H x 0.385" D
Hideaway Receiver: 4.464" W x 1.273" H x 4.35" D (5.115" including mounting tabs)
Antenna: 1.765" W x 0.651" H x 2.33" D
Remote Control: 1.561" W x 0.866" H x 4.254" L

Thats exactly what I've been looking for!!! I really like it, however I'd like to mount it over the existing ash tray cover.
This thread lead me to Ebay, where I found one I like. I'm just not sure it includes the micro antenna though...

Hi guys:

I just bought a Delphi Roady XM receiver with the wireless adapter. It is almost small enough to fit inside the coin holder. The reason I bought this one is that it includes the micro antenna, and the wireless adapter eliminates the need for the cassette adapter - it plays through 1 of 8 FM frequencies on your stereo, and it sounds pretty good. I have XM in 2 other cars, but I did this set up because I want to move it between my NSX and our boat during the summer and it is very easy to do since nothing is permanently installed.

BTW - I'm a huge XM fan, having had one since 2002, and I also bought both XM stock and Sirius stock because I think this will be a technology that reaches the tipping point very soon...

Check it out at www.shopdelphi.com.

I do

I have the Pioneer XM radio control head mounted in ash tray. It fits very well and I still have complete and unhindered use of the OEM flip up lid.
I can email pics of it if you would like. Or maybe try to post some?

Re: I do

do you have a link to this unit? I looked on the xm site and pioneer site and couldn't find anything.

Left Lane,

Where did you put the FM modulator with the Roady?? Did it fit well in the coin holder?? What wires are visible with your application?? I'm interested in geting one. Would like to know how yours is set up in more detail. Thanks!!
