Anyone own Nextel Stock?

hello- just wondering if anyone owns or follows this, they have been gaining alot the past month, I can sell right now and make only about $300 through a small amount of shares....just thinking if they will top out at this level around $8. TIA..

I would hold onto it for a while...after there network is connected nation wide by the end of the year i think it will go up more.

thanks NYC- I didnt know that their network was getting connected, I'm surprised they're as high as they are now...

I don't own Nextel stock but I do use a Nextel. FWIW I can tell you that although the two-way feature is nice, as a cell phone it's a total POS.

I work on Nextel system, and as you may know, they are planning on deploying Nationwide Dispatch next year. The way things are going, it'll probably come out mid next year for major markets. I am guessing the stock will go higher then. Of course it may go down some by then. But oh well, stock is always somewhat of a gamble.
