Anyone need a second toy?

Did you buy an NSX? The Supra looks nice if that's what you're into, but I didn't know it was a magnet for teenage girls.

Not yet... but relatively soon though. If I'm already interested in the NSX, I'd be trading down in handling and looks I think.

I want to live in a small converted warehouse, parking all on the lower level, a loft built above it for the bedroom and living room. Or a converted auto shop with lifts :D My car expenditures will remain a stready drain on my income until I retire, then I'll play full time. I'm looking at around a budget of $2000-2200/mo including maintenance and insurance. In 5 years from now and 10 years from now, there will be other cars, but what to get now?

Sunny, I thought you had to hang on to the Jag a bit longer? Gil

I don't think anyone here will dispute that statement. ;)

Nice, I too dreamed about living in a garage with an open living area surrounded by NSXs and other exotic cars. The only problems would be the engine heat and exhaust fumes. Lately I've been thinking about building a house that looks like an NSX. I was inspired by the propesed new Caddy dealership, which is supposed to look like an old Cadilac (with fins and everything).

That will really make me the happiest, I think. :) I don't like Porsche, Audi, BMW, or MB because of styling so my choices are instantly narrowed down, huh? NSX now or if not, what could I afford?

This car will haul some serious ass, but then again you trade in alot more. It looks in SUPER condition though.

Wont turn heads like an NSX even in stock form.

Sunny- howcome you dont stick with the original plan- the 355 :D
this will put you on another level IMHO....the more I see them the more jealous I get of them..

Pockets aren't deep enough to take care of the maintenance if something major blows up unless I sit on my duff for a couple years for a long enough down, or I bust out the rosary beads and hope nothing bad happens. Prices are remaining high for spiders as well. I can't wait that long, I really can't.

I come from the Supra Family. Had two and would tell you to jump on one if you had a chance. Drives like no other out there... but all in all I kind of remember this one lingering around for a while.. .Forgot the reason...Maybe someone posted that this car wasn't really here... But you had better double check the Supraforums on this one I think there was a thread on this car when I was selling mine..

Cheers..

Happy with my NSX SC!! :p

I actually know the guy selling the car. He had a badass MR2. Ran with him and some other friends in the Malibu canyons once. Then got on the 10 fwy and everybody gunned it. His MR2 left me like I had my pants around my ankles! I've seen the Supra and it really is super clean.

$43k is a bit high for supra
i can get a 97 nsx with lower miles for that same price

Really? If you know of one right now, I'd appreciate it if you could point it out to me. I am not trying to be sarcastic and I am in fact genuinely interested.

Thanks!

i haven't go to the auction lately but last time i went...there were a white 97 w/ 15kmiles with comptech supercharger gone for 45.5k ...(i bid up to 45k) a dealer in WA got it for 45.5k....then sold it back to a gentlement in Southern California for a bit higher :)
but i do see it comes up in auction for 42-43k once in a while

JaguarXJ6, if you really, really want a supra you have to check this one out. This is one of my close friend Ryan's car. Its awsome! He owns his own shop and is one of the best supra tweakers out there. He's a great guy and i encourage you (JaguarXJ6) to call him with any question you may have. Even if any of you are not looking for a supra this is one you just have to see to believe.

oh by the way...it's Riverside Auto Auction(RAA) that i normally go to...and it's only for dealer w/ license
Hey Andy, I have a friend that goes to the Manheim highline auctions in Riverside. He keeps forgetting to look at the NSXs for me though. I think there have been some good deals on NSXs there. Next time I'll have to go along to check out the Ferraris and NSXs (and help drive any of his purchases back).
