For some reason, one of the bulbs are blinking.

Don't know why, but I will see if a new one takes care of the problem.

Thanks for the info.

I know I can order these from superbrightLEDs.com but just wanted to make sure they are the correct spec.

Regards,
Ton

The ones I'm using from them are the WLED-W4 - LED bulbs which don't seem to be on their site anymore. They have a WLED-W6 and the WLED-WHP with one high power bulb in it, both should work fine as should the WLED-x5 with the 4 radially mounted and single front mounted LED.

I kinda like that new single High Power bulb. Hmmmmm....maybe I'll upgrade my old ones and save them for the license plate lamps.

My bad....they still make the WLED-W4.

Look on this page: http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specs.htm

The bulbs you want to order are either WLED-W4, WLED-5, WLED-W6 or WLED-WHP (the single big ass center mounted LED version) they can all be ordered from Page 2 from this link. Which can also be found in the upper right hand corner of the bulb spec page link I posted above. (See Prices and Buy Now)

Just a couple of tips P' Ton. You want to get the amber bulbs for the front as the white bulbs will make the sidemarkers in the front appear yellow. That's because white LEDs are really blue with a phosphor. Get red for the ones in the back. I think technically a cop can get you for the sidemarker being the wrong color. See below, amber incadescent on left, white LED on right.

Also, when you pry the sidemarker off, you actually do it from behind the rubber gasket. If you pry in front of the rubber gasket on the lens side, you will pry the lens off (not good because you actually can break the sidemarker). It seems contrary to pry against the paint but if you start off lifting the gasket with a thin tool, you can get a rag backed up against the quarter panel and insert a larger flathead and not have to worry about scratching.

That WLED-WHP looks interesting. Not sure how well that would light up the sidemarker but next time I order, I'll add some to my order. Also interesting are the 3 watt Luxeon bulb products.

Good point Rapper. I've been assuming he was talking about the bulbs in the front of the car that are on as running lights and install in the large clear housings in the front bumpers. Superbrightleds has added a new section to their website explaining the effect of colored LEDs

Thanks MB and Hugh. Just ordered the bulbs.

I am hoping the bulb is bad and not because the car doesn't have enough electrical power, that is why it is blinking.

Thanks.

Bad ground/not enough power would cause a dim bulb, very unlikely. Bulb with a broken filament is can definitely blink as the filament makes contact on and off. I don't think you have to worry as it's almost certain that it's just a bad bulb.
