I am looking for a Windows app which resembles the old Macintosh Calendar desktop accessory. All I need is something very clean & simple that will quickly pop up, display the current month, and permit scrolling through the months and years. No need for bloatware with appointments, alarms, recurring events, conversion to the Mayan calendar etc. Anyone know of one?

TIA, Russ

Have you tried double clicking on the time of day in the lower right hand of your taskbar? It brings up a simple calender that's easy to switch from any month or year.

I hate that thing - it's always in edit mode & always willing to change your time settings at the drop of a hat. According to my PC this thread is only three days old.

Get Windows Vista. The calendar is always in browse mode by default. Plus a tremendous amount of other sweet updates.
