Hello everyone,
I have some other cars that I work on and I am redoing the brake system on one car. I have been trying to do some research on the difference in brake flaring kits. Can anyone tell me if a hydraulic brake flaring tool produces better quality flares (I need to do double and bubble flares) than the standard $30 flaring tools? Or is the yhdraulic units only better for volume?
Finally, can anyone recommed a good manufacture of flaring tool. I have been looking at mastercool, old forge, ridgid, snap on, etc.
Refer to the following link for the mastercool kits available. I was trying to decide between the 70092 & 71100 (I need both SAE and metric) and the 71450 kit. However I don't want to spend the extra money if the kits produce the same quality flare.

Thanks
p.s. Does anyone have any good experience with good quality tubbing benders and cutters?
