Anyone interested in LeMans Karting Sat 3/1?

A couple of friends of mine are planning to check out LeMans Karting in Fremont, or the one in Burlingame.
http://www.gokartracer.com/index.php or http://www.lemanskarting.com/php. I've never been, but always wanted to do it. As of right now we are planning to go next Sat 3/1/08. If anyone else is interested your more than welcome to join in the fun. If your interested, please let us know.

I wasn't aware that we need reservations in advance, so I'll have to see what time slots are availab le for next Sat, then I will post time.

Sorry about that. Either one. Which do you prefer? I did hear that Fremont has a more open track. Just called Karting in Fremont and the only time slot available for is 4pm Saturday afternoon.

If you want the better one out of the two i would highly recommend the one in Burglingame GoKart I've been to both several times and always prefer the Burlingame one better, on certain days you can have a full track instead of the usual 1/2 track. check their website for more information.

Gokart racing in Burlingame has a bigger track than Lemans IMO... But whatever track you guys decided on, I'LL BE THERE! :biggrin: Side bets anyone???

Burlingame is booked until 530pm. For now, we will be going to LeMans Kart Racing in Fremont. So for we have at least 4 drivers. If there are anymore interested in joining us, please let me know.

Being that I've never done this, we will do the Practice run with up to 10 other drivers. I believe it's 25.00 for about 19 laps and last only about 20-30 mins. You can do additional time and different race classes if you wanted to.

I'll need to know by this Wednesday if possible. I need to let them know at least 48 hours notice on the number of drivers. I'll need to cut this list off by this Thursday 2/28.

We had a blast at LeMans Karting yesterday. 1st time for 3 of the 5 and all had a great time. If you've never been, I highly recommend doing this sport either Fremont or Burlingame. The cars/karts are pretty fast.

Quack (Travis) it was great meeting you and checkout your nice car. We ought to meet up soon.

I think I'm going to do it again on Tuesday at lunch time for a quick 20min Karting. I'm hooked!

I went again to LeMans during lunch time yesterday Tuesday. It was just me and a friend on the track. It was quite a workout on the arms. Did 2 practice sessions for $40. 20% discounts before 2pm. Sadly, my best lap was 23.2, my goal is to hit 20.3.

I'm planning on going again next Tuesday again.

I spoke to the manager at LeMans and they do car club events and sponsoring.

Ha, I guess it was addictive. 20.3! the lead guy are high 19's good luck. It's good to think big though. Yeah I wish they had power steering, who would ever have a car without powersteering! (uh nsx excluded from statement)
