Anyone interested in doing a run on El Mirage Lake bed?

I'm sorry, but I won't do it based on my own principles :
Back in the late 70's and early 80's, my dad and I used to go out there all the time. I remember taking my Yamaha 100 cc uo to about 60 MPH on the lakebed (LOL). It was PUBLIC land...You could do whatever the hell you wanted out there....If you crashed, it was your own, stupid fault.
Once more the State of Ca. decides that having the highest vehicle registration fees in the country isn't enough, so they take over a place where people like to have fun and turn it into an overregulated cash cow.
