I want to change my 911 turbo for an nsx (+ cash of course), any one interested in a trade?

it is a black/black 911 turbo 2001 with around 56000km, no accident, no story.

There must be a story - there always is!! For starters, what made you want to switch over to our side? And let me be the first to wish you luck in your search!!

it is not finding and nsx the problem, it's to sell my Porsche :)

I will be honest here, i imported the car last year thinking i could make some profit on selling it, problem is, prices went down a LOT during winter so i know i won't be able to make any profit now. My real goal was to buy an NSX, i used to have one but long story short, i couldn't drive it, had to sell it back so i did like only 600km with it. I have had other cars since, (550hp supra, viper, Porsche) and i am still looking at nsx. It looks like as long as i won't have an other, i won't be satisfied. I thought it would be easy to sell the Porsche and make some money but looks like i was wrong. When i bought the car, i already had a buyer for it but he backed out, so i am kind of stuck with it.

I am not all that much a fan of Porsches, plus, it cost so much that i can not afford any modifications on the car, which is what i like to do with my cars.

With the price of the Porsche, i could buy an nsx for regular driving and an rx-7 for a race car application. I am the main rx-7 mechanic in Quebec and i don't even have one. Sold mine 5 years ago. I really need to get an other and with the Porsche, i can not afford it.

So basically, that is my story.

You will probably miss the boost and AWD in bad weather.

i never drive my sports car in bad weather, an other reason why i don't need such a good daily driver. The Porsche is too "perfect" for me :) I need a car that smeels, shakes and rides hard for my fun. For daily driving i have a regular car.

do u have a price in your head that youd like to sell it outright for?

i have some prices in mind but they may not reflect what ur looking for

what year NSX r u looking at getting?

also 6 speed or Tip?
Options?
Pictures?

well in ontario the cheapest seem to be between 75k and 80k, i guess around that, i am ready to go a little lower.

it is a 6 speed.

i don't have many pictures but it is what every Porsche turbo look like, nothing special

i would prefer to get a targa but i would prefer even more to sell the car without any exchange...

hey that looks like a really nice winter car while the nsx is sleeping safely!

But it is March tomorrow! Terrible timing!

J/k, but it seriously is a great 12 mth per year car.

Good luck getting 75-80 I have the same car for sale but its an 03 and I'd take that in a heartbeat - and mine is a Canadian car from day 1 - 25,000 kms!

These cars are worth 50-60's now

I spoke to Alex today and he's legit. Should I?

you have a Porsche 911 turbo 2003 with 25000km and you can't get more than 50-60k?

Only if you want to upgrade,LOL !!
Just kidding NSX guys !!!
I have a 2005 Carrera S cab,yes I love it but is it better than the NSX ?
I would say not better but a whole bunch different, that you really can't compare the two.
Hey,what would I know I never drove my NSX anyway,right Dave !
The porsche has already seen around 2,000 KMS and the year is just starting.

John do what makes you happy, they are both GREAT cars !!!
BTW,even if you do the P-car,TRUST me, you WIL NOT leave Prime.

Stacy is a great resource when you want to know how much fun it is to drive an NSX 17km per year. Best 2 minutes of his life!

Stu - I should have leased that turbo from you for the winter.

i do like Pumas turbo.

I must say that i did drove a regular 911 carrera (1999) and it is in no way comparable to the 911 turbo. Everything is better, power, suspension, brakes, etc.

I honestly didn't really like the regular 911.

Just kidding boys. Man, Dave really scares me sometimes.

I gotta break the stacy curse...every car that touches that Gruppe M gets sold within a year.

Love my NSX, love Prime. This is a great place to be.

Meanwhile my obsession continues. I thought I was done last fall. Suddenly in my garage are: new titanium key, stacys skirts, red nsx-r carpet, CF console, alum rings, SOS 2din bracket, CF nsx-r hood, nsx-r flat underbelly, BBS LMs....I swear thats it honey...someone help me....

Break the curse, heck you broke my car John !
Like I said before you "RIPPED" the heart right out of my car !

Dave,2 minutes?!?!
Why must you bring my relations with my wife into this !
She's happy(I think),LOL !

I prefer the C4S over the Turbo - the turbo hits 100kms in a blink, so its less fun to drive since you're always speeding around - also noisier and drinks gas - C4S, NICE!

Dave I should have sold it to you as a winterbeater when our highest offer was $75k
