TIA

Ive been over the instructions and it appears to be a simple install. Am I overlooking anything? Ive got a hole saw to cut the panels and I have all the tools, including the tq wrench required, to do it.

How long has this taken you guys to do? Looks like 1hrish to me.

Im less sure about the 5pt harness; those instructions are not the most thorough and I am not familiar with how these harnesses mount.

Any advice?

The harness bar is an easy install, especially with the supplied directions. It's straight forward and you shouldn't have any difficulty. It may end up taking you just a bit longer than an hour the first time, but it's not difficult at all. You'll love the finished product as the design is great and really fits well with the car.

I put the bar and harnesses in over the weekend. Under was correct; a fairly easy install.

Tips for those looking to do the same.

1.After you have assembled the bpillar mount and move to install it into the Bpillar, fist put it through the bpillar panel trim. Then thread it a few turns into the bpillar and only at that point worry about installing the panel. Initially I installed the panel trim and tried to thread the mount through the hole that I drilled in the panel. After playing around for 15 minutes, I changed my plan to the above. It was way easier.

2. Be carful with those threaded washers that hold the mount together. They can come off! I lost one and spent 1hr looking for it - I had to replace.

3. Plan on a tight fit attaching the vertical bars to the mounts. My arms and shoulders are still aching from the manipulations.

The whole thing took me about 3hrs (not including looking for the washer) but including about 90 minutes of bolts not threading, sockets not fitting, etc...

I havent installed my sub belt yet.

Thanks for the tips Bio. I'll be putting mine in this weekend. How's the bar look? I've yet to see a good pic of the SOS bar in a car.

I looks good!

The top horizontal bar sits lower than I expected, but the bars seem very well designed and they make excellent use of the little bit of space behind the seat bolts. Well done SOS.

My only gripe is that it is impossible to properly torque (using a standard torque wrench) the bolt holding the vertical bar to the BPillar mount. There just wasnt room for me to get a socket and elbow joint in there.

The instructions are great.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. It took me about 3 hours. Very solid harness. Good build quality.

My only issue is the lack of room once you install it. I don't think anybody taller than 6 foot would be comfortable driving my car. Not an issue for me as I am 5' 11''.

Regarding the Anti-sub issue. I have it going under the seat and over. Not ideal but works for DE's. PM me for more info.
