Anyone here own an NSX-R?

Unless you live in Japan or perhaps the UK, I don't know of anyone who owns one here in the US.

There are slightly less than 500 NA1 R in the world, and less than 200 NA2 R.

John
NA2 R is faster

Go to faq or do a search. Too many to list.

Hi there I am the "guy" with the NA1.

There was a really good BM video that showed two stock NSX-R, one NA1 and one NA2 and the difference on a circuit were not that mutch in real speed.

But as they say check the FAQ.

Cheers,

AR

I just watched the video again...for the Nth time

The speed and track time is in favor of the NA-2 but not by a huge margin. However, all the drivers agree the NA-2 is a whole lot more stable during high speed and corning due to the re-engineered aero dynamic parts; while the NA-1 "feels lighter and easier to toss and turn"...

NA1 NSX-R is based on the early "pop up lights" NSX, came out approx 4-5 years after the release of NSX.

NA2 NSX-R is based on the 2002+ style NSXs.

NA2 NSX-R's are faster in BMI videos

Guess you never watched the video on the history of the "R"
NA1R came in '92..

Additional Difference to the NA1Rs:
'92 came with 5-spoke championship white enkeis, and
'95 came with 7-spoke championship white possbily made by BBS.

Try the search, this topic has been beaten to death. But none the less, great reading:biggrin:

Ben, has an awesome thread right now about NSX-R differences on NA2 cars:wink:
